Background

The LS Ngonyama Technology Centre is a non-profit organisation that is primarily based in KwaNobuhle Township, Kariega in the Eastern Cape Province. We aim to uplift the community through STEM education to lay the foundation for critical thinking and to be literate in the language of the future. Steering education with foresight about the future will set up a society for success. There is a national crisis particularly in the Mathematics and Science Education in South African schools. A large number of learners with the potential to succeed in these subjects are not getting the sufficient support they require. The Eastern Cape Province is significantly affected as learners are not exposed to modern day technology and teaching strategies.
